Primary School Grade 1 field trip project
Primary 1 students had a field trip to Melon Chakhungrao. Today's field trip allowed the children to learn about local agricultural practices and admire various beautiful and colorful flowers. It was fun, educational, and enriching all at the same time!
- Learning by Doing: Children understand the process of growing flowers and other plants from seedling to harvest. They understand that plants need water, light, soil, and proper care.
- Integrating Science Naturally: Connecting plant growth, photosynthesis, plant life cycle, and environmental control in a greenhouse.
- Promoting Observation and Questioning Skills: Children practice observing, listening, asking, and analyzing what they see in real life, not just from books.
- Cultivating a Positive Attitude Towards Farming: Appreciating the labor, perseverance, and dedication of farmers, fostering respect for local occupations.
- Learning about Sufficiency Economy and the Wise Use of Resources: Understanding that producing quality food requires good planning and management.
- Enhancing Social Skills and Discipline: Children learn to participate in activities together, listen to instructions, and follow rules outside the classroom.
- Connecting Learning with the Local Community: Developing pride in the learning resources of Kamphaeng Phet Province.
The school would like to thank Melon Chakungrao for providing the venue and staff.
